What Is Witch's Mark?
An exploration of creativity, art, storytelling, and life through the lens of the tarot, as written by a recovering fundamentalist atheist/current skeptic/witch. Each week, I’ll publish a newsletter exploring the themes embodied by one card in the Tarot. Usually these newsletters will take the form of storytelling, and occasionally they might include an interview or something else. We’ll be exploring the themes of each card through stories, art, collage, and music. It’s gonna be fun and unwieldy, hopefully funny and occasionally deep. You’ll get playlists, book recommendations, and stories, and you might learn some tarot while you’re at it!

Who Is Witch's Mark Not For?
Dave Chappelle, Donald Trump, JK Rowling, Ron DeSantis, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Nazis, TERFs, and assholes of any kind.
And who the fuck are you?
Oh, sorry! I'm Eli Clark. I'm a writer of things – TV mostly and theater, occasionally film. I live in Los Angeles with my husband, our two kids and our dog. I spend a lot of time writing and thinking about writing and creativity. I love Tarot as a framework for storytelling and as a spiritual practice for folks who have a really hard time with religion and spirituality. I'm not a very woo-woo person, actually, in spite of my large collection of beautiful crystals, but I'm not anti woo-woo, as long as you vaccinate. Vaccination is important.
